This class is an Oracle database access wrapper using OCI extension. It can:

- Establish regular and persistent connections to an Oracle database server
- Execute arbitrary queries
- Execute INSERT queries using sequence values to get the new record identifier value
- Execute SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE and DELETE queries from parameters that define tables, field names, field values and condition clauses
- Start, commit and rollback transactions
